Re: [Sugar-devel] [PATCH 4/5] sl#3029: Localization fixes.
Gonzalo, I'm not sure that I understand your comment. My request was to capitalize "Sugar" in the string, that is all. I thought that is what this patch does. http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/3029 Comments about the function referenced by this string notwithstanding, can we please have this patch committed to correct the i18n issue? cjl On Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at 10:11 PM, Gonzalo Odiard wrote: > Also, you are doing a change different to the requested in the bug ticket. > And should be good if the description is more specific, not only > 'Localization fixes' > > Gonzalo > > > On Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at 6:36 PM, Ajay Garg wrote: >> >> Signed-off-by: Ajay Garg >> --- >> src/jarabe/controlpanel/cmd.py | 2 +- >> 1 files changed, 1 insertions(+), 1 deletions(-) >> >> diff --git a/src/jarabe/controlpanel/cmd.py >> b/src/jarabe/controlpanel/cmd.py >> index fe8f1a4..c4870c9 100644 >> --- a/src/jarabe/controlpanel/cmd.py >> +++ b/src/jarabe/controlpanel/cmd.py >> @@ -49,7 +49,7 @@ def cmd_help(): >> >> def note_restart(): >> """Instructions how to restart sugar""" >> - print _('To apply your changes you have to restart sugar.\n' + >> + print _('To apply your changes you have to restart Sugar.\n' + >> 'Hit ctrl+alt+erase on the keyboard to trigger a restart.') >> >> >> -- >> 1.7.4.4 >> >> ___ >> Sugar-devel mailing list >> Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org >> http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel > > > > ___ > Sugar-devel mailing list > Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org > http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel > ___ Sugar-devel mailing list Sugar-devel@lists.sugarlabs.org http://lists.sugarlabs.org/listinfo/sugar-devel

I'd often thought that we should mirror the gnome settings both in look and what it sets simply due to ensure the same operability in both environments and if you change it in one its reflected in the other.
