[Sugar-devel] Introduction and seeking information for GSOC participation

2016-02-27 Thread Soumen Ganguly
Hello folks!

I am Soumen Ganguly, I will begin my Masters' studies from April at
Saarland University, Germany.

I have been looking into the Sugar labs GSOC'16 project proposal page and I
want to contribute to the Sugarizer project, specifically the Sugarizer
Activity Set and would like to work on it as a gsoc proposal. I have
followed the initial steps mentioned to get started with. I would be glad
to get further insights into the project.

Looking forward to being a part of this team.

cheers,
Soumen

Hi Batchu,

Thank to your interest on our GSOC proposals.
Few words to complement Walter answer:

These 3 activities are important to be ported first so it's just a priority
order.
If the time permit, sure you could be able to expand the port to other
activities.
Last year, my student Michaël had time to port 3 1/2 activities :-)

May be Tony could answer on this but my opinion is that the Tank Operation
activity already do the job in JavaScript so we don't need a JavaScript
port of Tux Math.

Lionel.
