[Sugar-devel] (100issuesMB):Week1

2020-05-09 Thread Saksham Mrig
Hi,
I realize that I haven't given a formal introduction ,
I am Saksham Mrig, student at IIIT-Delhi ,one of the GSOC-students this
year. My project is to Resolve 100 issues in Music Blocks
. I will be
working with my mentors - Sumit Srivastava ,Walter and Vaibhav Aren.

This week I had Meetings with my mentors and other gsoc students on jit.s
i. I also had a separate meeting with Sumit where he
answered some of the queries I had and we discussed how I can move forward
with my project.
By next week , I would like to sort out my goals as clearly as I can and
list down a bunch of issues to start with.

Since my project is to solve issues in MusicBlocks this summer, I kindly
request sugarlab members to report issues , comment on our PRs and discuss
solutions with us. I am happy to help other students in their projects as
well.

Regards

[Sugar-devel] GSoC'20 Sugarizer game activity pack meeting

2020-05-09 Thread prakash ujjwal
I and my mentor Ashish had a meeting on sugarizer game activity pack at
4:00 PM IST today i.e. 9th May.

We had a discussion on question generation algorithm for mind math
activity, deciding next week tasks, and we decided to have an additional
meeting on Wednesday.

   1. Previous weeks tasks: start research on various algorithms, reading
about libraries that will be used.
   2. Problems in previous week tasks: some problems in question generation
   algorithm for mind math activity,
   3. Tasks in upcoming week: refine the current algorithm for questions
generation, research more options for algorithm, work on sugarizer chess
   activity, fix issue https://github.com/llaske/sugarizer/issues/799

Re: [Sugar-devel] [ECMA6]==>MusicBlocks

2020-05-09 Thread Anindya Kundu
I've reviewed [1], [2], and [3]. As, Aviral pointed out, 4 commits were
drawn in from previous pulls too. There's only one tiny commit remaining.
However, there's a suggestion to use const instead of let there.
