Y ! Awesome. Thanks for this test.
I even didn't know it was possible.
In the current version of the prototype (should be release shortly) I've
solved some compatibility issue so it works know in Firefox. May be it
would work better on Glass too.

Very nice thought.

Lionel.

 Lionel,

Just to see what it would look like, I loaded your HTML5 prototype of
Sugar Web into the Google Glass web browser. Here's a photo:

 http://www.flickr.com/photos/curiouslee/11377906195/

People who have torn down the Glass web browser code say it is currently
the Android phone web browser with some tweaks. Many are hoping to get
Chrome and also have the OS updated to 4.2 or newer. The Glass Browser
couldn't zoom or pan across the page in order to select links on your page
from the trackpad. Not sure why, but this is an issue on many web pages
perhaps having something to do with viewport settings.

I don't think there is a click and drag gesture in the web browser or I
 would try the Gears activity.

At some point soon, I'll get into sideloading Android apps from the GDK
and will try the app you compiled for Android.

Fantastic! It reminds me to the prototype made with the mozilla stack
that Daniel Narvaez did, using b2g. That led to sugar-web. So we
need more prototypes like this.

And as Gary said, is a nice way to visualize the web activities.

always wanted to give it a try but never found the time.

It is not just research, I've seen it used in the popular site JSFiddle.

Hi,

for what it's worth I think this is pretty much the direction we should be
taking for Sugar on the Web and Sugar on Android. It's great to have
something to show rather than trying to describe, which I fell has not been
working too well! Quick prototypes like this could also be a good way to
figure out, for example, how to implement the Journal in a web friendly way.

So... Kudos on this effort :)

Fantastic! :)

Really great to see this, and for what its worth it ran well in Safari on my
Mac (and would be trivial to make a standalone, fullscreen Mac app that wrapped
this in an html view if desired). I'm thinking this – at the very least – may
be a great path forward for writing Sugar Web apps and having somewhere to
quickly and easily test them.
