(There's also olpc-dm that was used on Fedora 18 OLPC OS, but it is 
unmaintained, so you'll need a developer to make it work on Raspbian.)

Yes, there is a way, but this is not part of Sugar.  It is part of a program in 
a class of programs called a greeter.

gdm3 offers a choice of Sugar or GNOME if both are installed.

lightdm also offers a similar choice.

nodm can be configured for one choice only.

You can find the documentation for this in the greeter program packages.

Some greeters allow simultaneous sessions, so you can switch between Sugar and

and you want to stop that from happening, remove the file.

"rm .xsession"

Do that in Terminal, then reboot.
