In the past 10 years the Sun Ray hardware capabilities were always ahead of the software capabilities. Which is a good thing since software can be updated much more easily. So I can imagine that SRS 4.2 does not stretch the Sun Rayn 3 Plus to its limits. In order to see the full performance you will probably need the next SRS version. Perhaps you're misinterpreting the dual-link DVI capability. Dual-link means that the SR3+ can spread pixel data over a pair of data lines on the DVI connector. This is what allows it to drive a 2560x1600 monitor while staying within the clock rate limit of DVI. It does not mean that you can attach 2 monitors to each DVI output.
