[freenet-support] Native datastore or non native ?
Hi, I've just looked in my freenet.ini file and saw storeType=freenet Does it mean it is native or not ? FI, I've got version 0.5pre4 upgraded to build519, downloading the latest freenet*.jar. What are the different possibility for this entry ? in the ini file it says # The type of store we have (this text will get clearer soon). What I've done is the same thing putting the url of the images instead of url of the html file (and storing the img on my disk), but it only react like it want to see text and not binary Ok it's readline() so I looked @ the Javadoc but try a lot of stuff for the file however did'nt manage to do the same thing for binary files. I tried BufferedInputStream, ByteArrayInputStream and so on Have you got a good web site which explain that or could you say me how I need to proceed to make that ? I never saw a language as complicated to make a very basic stuff... Other thing I remark is that some site which are in my bot are well stored on the datastore but apparently it is not the case for all the site ... Could you explain me why ? [freenet-support] Re : comment ca marche ce truc (how does this stuff works)
Hi, First be sure not to be under a firewall and to access internet. then if this page appears it's normal : a little of persons have freenet on their machines so the packets are really fast lost in the cyberspace ... If you are lucky you can sometimes see webpages and / or informations ... for the network to be efficient it has to be spread on a really number of machines ... It should be really nice if a lot of people could install this product just to make this network elvolves easyly !!! with country which bafouettes the right of expressions and private right this network should be a real alternative. However you must be patient for this to be in place. So do you see other stuff than the little screen here ? is it an error 404 ? cannot reach the website ? Could you right click on the little bunny in the right down hand site of the screen then click on view logfile send us your the stuff appearing there ? C U, blured. Hmm so click on refresh on your browser till you see other things that : Network Error Couldn't retrieve key: Hops To Live: 15 Error: Data not found Change Hops To Live Shit i'm in html mode now fucking outlook !
