Hm, both the native 1.3.1 and 1.2.2 work for me (a coredump every
other week or so).

No stacktrace? Looks like a bug in Kaffe.
 
 I suspect that although catestrophic on *BSD, there is still a bug in
 there on Linux and Windows just waiting for the opportunity to bite. 
 Otherwise, I'd just shut up and run Kaffe.  Rob.
