Re: [freenet-support] A maximum of 40 connections on XP SP3?

My node (version 0.5) is supposed to allow 90 concurrent open
connections. However, in the last week or so I've only seen 40 listed
connections in the Open Connections segment of node's control panel,
 e.g.

 Connections open (Inbound/Outbound/Limit) 40 (0/40/90)

I read that a few month ago, people were only able to connect to 120-150
nodes on the 0.5 network.

Is it possible that this is the actual size of the 0.5 network ?

Well, people were slowly switching over to 0,7. There were some messages on FMS
recently suggesting that an individual is a 0,5-traitor.

I'd say that 0.5 is still doing well. If you run 5109 0r use the
painkiller versions of 5107 / 5108 plenty of connections are easily
possible. ...

Connections open (Inbound/Outbound/Limit) 114 (101/13/2000)
