[freenet-support] reference suicide
Well, my rt files haven't exploded this time - but the databugs seem to be slowly munching through my list of known nodes. Are there really only 16 nodes? And do we have to remove them (nodes we discard for whatever reason) from the list - shouldn't we just put them to one side so that we can get them back? ___ support mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hawk.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support

The request couldn't even make it off of your node. Try again, perhaps with the GPL to help your node learn about others. The publicly available seed nodes have been very busy lately. If possible try to get a friend to give you a reference to their node instead.

Re: [freenet-support] Gateway won't start for me.
Hi, remove storeFile=E:\FreenetStore in -this mabe wrong because you set : storeType=freenet (And this means that you will have a DS-directory - not a file If you want to set the path to the Datastore use storeDataFile= Also you can try to change tempDir=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\freenet\ into tempDir=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\freenet If this doesn't help set your debuglevel to debug and start the node and give us your log-File then. Also your FEC-setup is wrong . Have you inserted the fproxy.* -lines manually ? They are obsolete (as you see in your log-file :-) For FEC you should include: FECInstanceCacheSize=1 FEC.Encoders.0.class=OnionFECEncoder FEC.Decoders.0.class=OnionFECDecoder Good luck Der Vagabund At 20:43 09.11.2002, you wrote: Hello Support, I can't get my gateway to start. Hi All, How do I let other people connect to fproxy? I tried adding the line listed in the faq entry for this problem, I think it was something like fproxy.bindaddress=* but still nothing. [freenet-support] Route Not Found Error behind a LAN.
Hello. I recently read an article about FreeNet and consequently downloaded the program and installed it. But I have a problem - I can't retrieve my key. I get the error Route Not Found. Is it possible that the problem be my way to connect to the Internet - through? Or that I run a firewall (The Freenet program has all the permissions to access the Internet)? What should I try and what should I read to find out how to fix this problem? Sincerely: Ivaylo Novakov __ Do you Yahoo!? Re: [freenet-support] Route Not Found Error behind a LAN.
There was a problem with the seednode harvester this-morning. Try downloading http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/seednodes.ref into your Freenet directory, and restarting Freenet. Ian. [freenet-support] Sun Java version 1.4.1_01 and Linux/Sun OS
I've stopped trying to get the current (read unstable) cvs of freenet to build using kaffe on linux due to sheer lack of time. I was kinda dumbfounded when the current freenet cvs would not buid *and* run on the latest Sun java release. I posted my sketchy logfiles and java vm output here, to which toad replied blecch, jvm problem. Yep. Time now permits more research. See http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4712498.html for more info. If you are using Sun java version 1.4.1_01 to *build* and run freenet on linux and/or Solaris add the following options to the command line or your shell script -server -Xcomp -Xverify:all. Freeenet will start slowly, but will start. I just restarted the linux and sun os nodes - i'll see how they are doing in 24hrs. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature
