Jim in all honesty, if there is, i'd run out and buy one tomorrow... :) again, i am VERY green when it comes to linux, but is there a way to package the Exchange connection add-on of Evolution to either Claws, Openmoko Mail or Qtmail? or, is that idea much like re-inventing the wheel? -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/OpenMoko-Exchange-tp2152518p3732419.html Sent from the Openmoko Support mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

You're booted into the kernel fine, since with Qi nothing brings up backlight until then. In Sean McNeil's kernel configs he has turned off the framebuffer console completely because it caused flickering apparently. So I guess you're all set but something is blowing chunks once Android starts. Maybe try a different kernel image like the ones in http://people.openmoko.org/andy that does have a framebuffer console. Depending on how far you're getting, you may also be able to see something logged using adb (http://people.openmoko.org/sean_mcneil/adb) Try ADBHOST=192.168.0.202 {path-to}/adb logcat Jim ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

My error, and I believe Tilman's too, came after installing the fso-testing image, not from running opkg upgrade. Thanks for the help! Re: [fso m3] vibrate over and over
Matt wrote: I installed FSO milstone III on my FR, and left it on my desk at home. When I came home, I noticed it was vibrating, over and over. I had at least one missed call, I can't find a call log, so it may have been more. The phone kept vibrating until I had unlocked zhone (1224) and clicked reject, several times. Would have been virating most of the day. Is this a known bug? I had the same thing happen yesterday with zhone in Debian. I made a test call, didn't answer it, and the only way to make the phone stop vibrating was to reboot it--multiple clicks of the reject button had no effect. Re: Revive Freerunner with USB power?
Michael Shiloh wrote: To protect ourselves we have to say that OpenMoko does not recommend this procedure so do so at your own risk. FWIW, I was able to revive my FR with a dead battery this morning by following the procedure on the Wiki: Some users have reported that Neo FreeRunner is able to boot on USB power alone using the NOR u-boot, thus: press AUX, plug USB power, select boot. I did this and got the NOR u-boot menu, then as the comment on the wiki suggested, kept it in the menu for a minute or so by clicking the AUX button every few seconds, then selected the boot item and it booted normally and the battery charged. Hope this helps. Jim ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
