[OM2008.9] HID keyboard layout configuration

2008-09-27 Thread Mikael Berthe
Hi,

I'm trying to use a non-qwerty HID keyboard (more precisely an azerty
Logitech), and I haven't been able to find out if the Xglamo keyboard
can be set to azerty. I'm not even sure there's a configuration file.

Any suggestion? Has somebody already tried this?

Note: BTW, the hid keyboard doesn't work well in the console. I can
switch to tty1 but then lots of keys don't work and I'm stuck :)

Re: Capricious USB connection

Hi Arne,

i've seen messages like that a long time ago on usb2.0 chips made by via,
 i think.
there where several boot options (for the host, of course), to handle that
kind of error, but after all on an acer aspire i had to set usb back to
1.1, else the usb wouldn't work at all.

I've tried with several host machines, unfortunately it didn't change
anything.

It looks like mickeyl's problem in the following bug report:
 http://docs.openmoko.org/trac/ticket/1252
(but read the last comments, it doesn't seem to be like the initial
problem in the ticket).

Only one or several reboots of the FR (and sometimes removing the
battery) helped in my case... which is very annoying because the FR
won't even charge :\

Re: events/0 uses 25% of CPU, avahi-daemon uses 9% (bluetooth problem?)

2008-07-27 Thread Mikael Berthe
* Russell Sears [EMAIL PROTECTED] [2008-07-19 03:21 +0200]:
 Today events/0 was using 25% of CPU, avahi-daemon, 9%

From what I can tell, there's nothing interesting in dmesg or logread.
This is on a factory image + opkg upgrade as of last night.

Same here,
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEMTIME+ COMMAND
5 root 15 -5 000 R 31.0 0.0 67:27.00 events/0

Just wondering if there's a way to fix that without rebooting...
Any idea?
