[pfSense Support] Accessing aDSL modem connected to pfsense via PPPoE from LAN.
Hi all, is possible access to aDSL modem from LAN side of PFsense, when aDSL modem is connected to WAN of PFsense via PPoE? The aDSL modem is in mode transparent bridge, so the PFsense use build in PPPoE client to dial-up the aDSL modem. So on the wan side of PF sense is public IP and aDSL modem has private address. -PFSENSE MACHINE- aDSLmodem 192.168.1.1WAN_pfsense/running PPPoEclient/LAN_pfsense 219.109.xxx.xxx 192.168.10.1 I need access from network 192.168.10.xxx to 192.168.1.1 due config of aDSL modem. The moment you set the alias with ifconfig, dhclient stops working and all connections fail. pfSense's dhclient is quite different. I'm not sure if this trick/hack will work correctly.
