Hi Joseph,

You should be able to block that 'user' via the Conversation->Block menu
the next time you receive it.

Hi there,

It looks like you're a Windows user so unfortunately Constantine's advice
probably won't help in this instance.

You might want to look at the 'Message Notification' plugin in
Tools->Plugins, and make sure you dont have the 'raise conversation window'
or 'present conversation window' options checked.  You could also try using
the "Full Screen Busy" plugin (on
https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins ) which will set your
Pidgin status to Away when you're in a full-screen application, and should
stop new messages from annoying you :)

In case you're playing through Wine, the best way is to open winecfg, and set 
the "Graphics → Desktop emulation". This way notifications would never 
interfere to the game. I benchmarked games with and without desktop emulation 
with i3+Compton, and it didn't seem to hurt performance in any way.

Or you could disable notifications, if you want to.

Perhaps anyone could give other advices.

Pidgin Behavior

Hello. 

First of all, Pidgin is a very useful tool and I could not imagine living 
without it nowadays. 
I have recently discovered something I do not like.

Everytime I am playing a game full screen (WoW, League of Legends) Pidgin new 
message window causes my game to minimize. Is there a way to fix this issue? 

I would be very glad and would love to hear your suggestions.

equivalent file.

other computers in our company.
The thing is we did not note the password of our account before (wecan use
the device because the password is already registered in the system)...

Extending the MUC so that a user sitting on diffrent PC can also join it

Hi,

I have created a multi-user chat room using ejabberd and Pidgin.The chatroom 
consists of three users, but my problem is that all the three user are accessed 
by me only and that too on from my PC. I want that people sitting on different 
PCs can also join my chatroom . 

Can Anybody tell me how to go about it.
