Re: Large number of files to be removed upon addon install
I figured out the problem. When you search on purple-facebook the first and only option is purple-facebook:i386. If you search for Architecture and select All you find just purple-facebook. I do not remember that being an issue on my other computer but Ill make note of that now in the future. # earlier post not to list This is my list. sources.list line 57 deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/jgeboski/xUbuntu_14.04 ./ -- Registered Linux User: #480675 Registered Linux Machine: #408606 Linux since June 2005 On Wed, Feb 3, 2016 at 1:36 AM, Adrien Rivardwrote: > 64 bit. > > AFAIK none of these package should be removed and none are related to pdigin > installation. > > Imo you either misconfigured your repositories when adding the pidgin one, > either you had a problem before. > > > > On Wed, Feb 3, 2016 at 2:23 AM, Wade Smart wrote: >> >> Are you 64 or 32 bit? >> >> Look at these screen shots. Re: Large number of files to be removed upon addon install
I'm not sure to follow, which files are you talking about ? If those are some ubuntu packages, I just installed purple-facebook and none where removed. (on Xubuntu 14.04). I did not notice any removed files anyway. On Tue, Feb 2, 2016 at 9:36 PM, Wade Smartwrote: > Because of a bad update file in a recent ubuntu update, I have had > to reinstall my os. Re: Large number of files to be removed upon addon install
64 bit. AFAIK none of these package should be removed and none are related to pdigin installation. Imo you either misconfigured your repositories when adding the pidgin one, either you had a problem before.
