My current version is 10.1.14.11, which according to Adobe is the latest
version that I can use. I'm running a Vista OS so the new Adobe DC is
not available for my machine, and plug-in checker was saying this before
Adobe DC ever came out.

Is this one that I'm just going to have to live with?

Any advise

TIA

If Adobe Reader 10 or 11 then SeaMonkey plug-in checker will report Adobe is out-of-date because the DC version of Adobe Reader is being treated as the most current 'in-date' version.

If the DC version requires different system requirements than your system supports (o/s and/or browser), afaik, you will have to live with the 'out-of-date' finding by the plug-in checker and continue to update your version (though it is possible that Adobe will stop providing updates for prior versions at some point in the future).
