Could you have inadvertently established SeaMonkey as the "helper 
application" for .eml files? If so, SeaMonkey would call SeaMonkey would 
call SeaMonkey..., right?

That is supported by others using both Windows and Linux on a variety of
hardware do not see the problem.

We just have to determine what is the relevant difference between your
two systems.

For each system:
   What is make and model of the hardware?
   What processor does each use?
   What is EXACT OS used on each?
   How does each connect to the internet?


That last item might be the key if you connect through different services.

All PC's are on the same wi-fi - Spectrum. PC is an Alienware and laptop 
is a Samsung. Each use Windows 7.

Edit - Preferences - Privacy & Security - Passwords.  Check the box.


Thanks.  I never have let browsers save passwords so I didn't think to
look in Preferences.


If you don't want to remember anything but mail passwords, once SM has 
learned those you can turn the option back off.

I use Facebook Purity to manage my Facebook page. It worked up to SM 
2.46, but not with later versions, including 2.49.1. It still shows up 
in Add-ons Manager as active, but it does not work to change my FB 
settings.

Works for me, both with all 28 of my extensions and also without any
extensions (in Safe Mode).

Have you tried visiting the site in Safe Mode?  Is it possible that your
ISP is blocking it?
