Try spoofing your UA string to FF 55.0 or something other than 64,65,66.

My UA string shows 64.0. If I go back to 55 won't this cause issues with
sites saying my browser is old?

Maybe. Try it and see.

Re: Not A Robot

2019-05-14 Thread Dirk Fieldhouse
As suggested before, advertise what your browser is actually compatible
with (SM 2.49.4 => FF ESR52) so that at least you don't mislead
cretinously designed sites that rely on the UA string.

Properly designed sites that conform to standards and check for
functionality instead of product names and versions will work regardless.

Then reserve spoofing for the lowlife scum who demand a specific or the
latest version of a specific UA.

That has to be a site thing - I sent some messages off a few hours ago
and had to authenticate that way.

What site?

Oh, and something you could try (although it may well have side-effects):
Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> HTTP Networking
and toggle "Advertise Firefox compatibility" under "User Agent String".

It's this site for example:
https://selfcare.twcc.com/index.cfm?method=login.login

I also have the compatibility box checked.

Current ESR is 60. I use 60 for several sites via about:config:

general.useragent.override.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0

My normal is:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.49.4

What is your preference for images: Do not load any images, Only load
images from the originating server, or Load all images?

Check this by going to [Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security >
Images]. You might need to select the third item.

I have load all images selected.
