Re: Remove Duplicate Messages (Alternate) 0.4.1

2019-11-11 Thread rob

I've been in touch with the author.

He says he will get around to looking at it. That's OK because he does
it on his own time and offers it for free.

I've confirmed it doesn't work on x32 and x64 Windows 7 Pro and x64
Windows 10 Home. I don't have Windows 8.x and haven't had time to check
x64 Windows 10 Pro.

Does this Add On work for anyone?

The extensions support page is at

I know that I have downloaded it, installed it and is doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone confirm if it works on the latest version of Seamonkey?

Assuming the new installation has only an empty address book, you
should only have to delete one AB after the import, right? There
shouldn't be a whole parallel set of empty ABs corresponding to the
imported ones.

Exactly how are you going about it?

I have 2 empty address books before the import.  One for personal
addresses and one for collected addresses.  SM will not let me delete
either one.

What I do is import the Collected addresses, it makes a duplicate, then
I copy and paste from the imported address book into the empty Collected
addresses book, and delete the imported one, Same for the Personal
address book.

Hmm.  Never tried that before, let's see.
For the credit card account, clicking on any of the four icons results
in the same warning in the Error Console:

but the first three all work, download does not.

And... for the deposit account the results are the same, including the
Javascript warning.

You might want to try this again now. For some reason I did this
morning and find that the download icon now works for me here. It would
seem that Chase finally noticed the problem and corrected it.

I saw at the original (damaged) profile

Should I also move logins.json ? (I can't find it that Profile reference

Yes, you should move logins.json and key3.db.
That mozillazine page is out of date, and no longer maintained. Use the
instructions in the following page:

When I visit the pages (Wordpress logins for example) where the
usernames and passwords were automatically (or semi-automatically)
filled, the usernames nor the passwords show up.

Thanks in advance.

So where do I switch from full headers to normal headers, Please??

Oh!! It can't be *THAT* simple, surely!!

Sine a very long time I have

Yeap, I had that one set to 'true' but as I also had 'Full Headers'
selected, that User Pref was somewhat redundant!! ;-(

The old downloads api was removed by mozilla. 2.53.1 switched to the
jsdownloads api same as in Firefox (since around 26 I think).
