I would like to be able to have the filter for aus.legal in place before downloading discussions (probably difficult or impossible) If you're speaking about Message Filters, look for msgFilterRules.dat in your profile. Copy to new profile in similar location. Thank, this sounds like what I need except that I can not find msgFilterRules.dat any where, any pointers where to look? windows search does not find it. A good way to find this is to type %appdata% in the address bar of Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer). After that you will see the folders for stuff like SeaMonkey, Firefox and all those other installed programs. To find SeaMonkey i used - %appdata%/mozilla After a lot of searching I found aus.legal.dat which I transposed, It seems to have worked, I will know in a few days. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Trouble with hotmail page
When I try to open hotmail in sea monkey it puts my email list down the left of the page in big letters. The page looks nothing like my old hotmail page that I am used to. The only way to get this old page I am used to is to type www.hotmail.com again in the url space and it sometimes opens up like it used to. (mostly not) In case posters can not understand my wafflings, I post two pictures of my screen, the first is the unwanted new one that keeps coming up, the second is the page that I am used to.How can I stop the new one coming up all the time? IE usually opens hotmail as sea monkey used to Sea monkey opens up like the first screen photo and I don't want this. SeaMonkey is not one of their choices, so various parts of the page do not get loaded, including the CSS that lays out the pages. No, but you can do one of two things. 1. Use the PrefBar extension to change your UA string. 2. Change your UA string to include the words NOT Firefox I don't have the latest version around, so don't know exactly where that is ... I posted it in three different places including hotmail itself and got no sensible answers, this NG is the only one that seem to even acknowledge that the problem exists. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
