'Authentication failed' when using POP3 with Hotmail
I've just set up a new Hotmail account and I created the new account in SeaMonkey but all I get is authentication failed. Server is pop3.live.com, port is 995, password is right. What's the problem? Re: 'Authentication failed' when using POP3 with Hotmail
What's the problem? The problem is that in the Account Settings, in Server Settings, in the User Name textbox, the username _must_ include @hotmail.com. And then, it works. -- Malcolm They should know they're the Grateful Dead now. -- Phil ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
