I find that I can explore to some extent with Safari, but not with SeaMonkey. 
If I try to follow links from there, I get out of the Wayback Machine, which 
pages still work for now, but for how long?

Why would you need to go there at all?

The Knowledge Base is now read only at 
 AIUI.


A user should be able to search it from 
 
and should be able to find posts using the "Search Boards:" search field.

Maybe just changed.  I remember being able to click on a calendar
entry & getting the page for that date.  Now I have to mouse over the
calendar entry, wait for the popup window and then click on a
timestamp to get the archived page

legally in the U.S. is also illegal.  How many of the EMPLOYERS are
being criminally charged?  If none, why not?

Well, it is new only because Kerz is shutting down mozillaZine.



AFAIK nobody is as passionate about Firefox or Thunderbird to setup new 
forums. They probably are not needed since there is SUMO and these 
newsgroups/mailing lists.
