I have set my SM 1.1.18 (Mac) preferences to only display fonts in character encoding Unicode (UTF-8). Instead, it still insists on frequently moving over to Western (ISO-8859-1), which doesn’t handle punctuation correctly. Does anyone know why the user settings are ignored? I‘ve tried restarting, rebooting, etc. Doesn’t seem to help.
