In the particular case, SeaMonkey (or equally TBird) is an EN-GB version but an IMAP subscription to a German email service creates non-renamable German language folder names ( except that apparently Inbox is German for Inbox. Personally I don't use the QF extension but some people, such as the poster to whom I was replying, seem to find it useful, and the 4.18.2 version would suit them until WebExtensions come to SM. /df -- London UK ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

German email accounts work just as with "Sent" as with "Gesendet" etc. Reasons to use a German Seamonkey would be: - multiple people using it - spellchucking o.Ä. In theory a Language Pack would help there but there have been problems in that area with some recent levels. OK, it appears the problem is with the QuickFolders add-on. QuickFolders isn't compatible with the new version of Seamonkey. I noticed it was missing after the update, then found that an earlier version of QuickFolders DOES function with the new SeaMonkey - except, it somehow interferes with renaming folders within SeaMonkey mail. I disabled that, and found I could then rename my eMail folders... BUT - I find QuickFolders VERY useful, so unless I find some other problem with the "incompatible" add-on, I will go ahead and use it, and rename mail folders via the PROPERTIES dialog. I have another problem - seemingly unrelated, since it started a few weeks ago, and I just updated SeaMonkey a couple days ago - I can open .PDF files in Seamonkey, but can't PRINT them - because the PRINT dialog doesn't pop up... Similar to the way the RENAME FOLDER dialog won't pop up - though various other dialog boxes (such as PROPERTIES) open and work just fine! (To get around that problem, I have to download the .PDF file, then open and print it from a .PDF viewer.) I don't get it. Saler Paul I don't know how I do it, but whane I click on a pdf file, I got a menu: "Save" or "Open with Foxi--Reader". So I don't have your problem.
