Apparently the login process works, I received "hola username" after

Is there anything relevant in the Error Console (eg JS errors)?

And I say again, might it not just be SM's cookie or User Tracking
settings?

I Have just upgraded to SM 2.53.4, and the problem persists

Every week I test the website to verify that they have resolved the
problem. And every week I send a new email to their technical department
asking that they correct this misbehaviour.

Is There a  reader of Spanish newspapers in this newsgroup so that we
can further investigate and perhaps convince the managers of eldiario.es
to resolve the problem ?

How can I debug the javascript in order to alert the managers of the
website of their misbehaviour ?

With SM 2.53.3, JavaScript disabled (NoScript) and no site styles
(View>Use Style>None), you can read text from the paper.

With JavaScript disabled and site styles (View>Use Style>Default
Style) fixed by this user CSS, you can read text from the paper, but
with a better layout:

body {opacity: 1 !important;}

With www.eldiario.es enabled for JS and site styles, the menu works,
and you can read the paper with images visible.

Re: What is the correct way to override useragent

2020-09-05 Thread AndrésH

Thank you,

Previously I tried both general... and browser... . with other useragent
strings . This time I tried with Pale Moon because the website functions
correctly with Pale Moon.

It seems that eldiario.es is one of the several websites which don't
support SM as in " RottenTomatoes.com rejects SeaMonkey even with fake UA".

Are there some guidelines/tools to diagnose what kind of software they
use and try to (1) indicate the administrators of the website the origin
of this behaviour and (2) in the meantime to mitigate the problem ?

Here are some of the cookies I found : BrainHub, _gat_UA-30394221-1.

What is the correct way to specify  override the useragent?

Is it general.useragent.override.eldiario.es ? Or
browser.useragent.override.eldiario.es ?

I tried "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:68.9)
Gecko/20100101 Goanna/4.6 Firefox/68.9 PaleMoon/28.12.0" . What is the
current  Firefox useragent ?

The preference is
general.useragent.override.eldiario.es
Try using the value
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:75.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0
but all on one line.
