That sounds like what I found a while back with other sites protected by Akamai if scripting was blocked. It would initially load fine, but following any links to other pages on the same site would give an error like the one you're seeing. And then it would continue to give that error even after enabling scripting, unless I cleared cookies after enabling scripting. Did you try safe mode with your usual profile? Did that work? Apologies if that's already been mentioned before. It may be worth temporarily disabling AdBlock Plus entirely (and then delete cookies again), in case the problem may be triggered by some other domain from which carmax.com loads content. Yes I have tried safe mode many times before and that did not chance thinks. However, I did try if again just moments ago wit worked in safe mode and when I went back to normal mode it still worked. So now I'm not sure what resolved this. I guess I will just use the site and see what happens. I go to carmax.com, type "chev" in the search line and get lots of Chevrolets listed when I either click Enter, click the Search icon or select "Chevrolet" from the drop down list.Ublock Origin turned on. But it was easier to just permanently allow JavaScript for those domains. I rebuilt the profile by creating a clean one, then manually importing pieces one by one. Now it works, but no idea why. My plugins are simple. DOM inspector, epubreader, restart, show password, & umatrix. Everything is the same as it was before, only now it works. Really weird. I'd suspect something different in the configuration of uMatrix between the two profiles. That allows you to control which sites can run scripts (amongst other things). I'm afraid I don't know the details of why it might fail with a specific browser/profile and work with others on the same machine - I can only guess cookies, javascript or the user-agent string may be involved, but it could be something else. OpenShell, 7+ taskbar switcher, network activity indicator, explorer++
With everything made as XP classic as possible.
I find the default Win7 GUI effectively unusable.
Later windows are even worse in my own opinion.
The two errors I got are.
Blank page. {View source shows JS}
Access Denied: bignumber.bignumber.number
Newegg is the one I really care about though.
They supply my computer parts fix.
Without them and arduino I would be lost.
I made a fresh Win7 profile, different username.
Made a clean SM 2.53.3 profile in it.
Newegg worked:
Closed and restarted SM at each step below.
Reinstalled addons one by one.
Dom Inspector, Restart App, Show pwd, umatrix.
Newegg worked after each one:
Copied the parts of the failed profile one by one.
Bookmarks, Cookies, Passwords, etc.
Newegg Worked at each step.
Newegg worked when all parts copied.
Copied working SM profile back to original user profile.
Newegg Worked:
Very annoying, but it is working now.
I still have no idea what went wrong.
But I fixed it, yay?

SM 2.53.3 Access Denied
Starting with SM 2.53.2 I began getting access denied messages on a few random websites. With SM 2.53.3 it has gone from annoyance, to problem. Places, for instance newegg, and there are many more, will load the home screen, then when I go anywhere, it is blank, or I get access denied messages, it varies. Yes I have tried in safe mode. Yes I have tried a clean profile. Yes I have tried with identify as FF & SM. Yes I have tried with identify as FF. Portable version of FF60 works fine. Anybody else having this problem Or is this just life having some fun at my expense? -- Doors - Dont look at the future in a window.
