I'm running Xubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit gtk3 is installed Any ideas? On this system, that is a symbolic link to libgtk-3.so.0.2000.10 (under usr/lib64). That file belongs to libgtk-3-0. What I'd do is 1 - make sure that package is installed 2 - check that the target (or an equivalent) is installed 3 - if everything else is ok, add the symbolic link yourself.
