There is a curiously priced 18V phantom power box, that seemingly just hard wires two 9V batteries, on the same site at 215 reduced to 145 USD <http://www.embracecinemagear.com/tpb18-phantom-power-source-for-devices-dslr-zoom-h4n-tascam-dr-101.html> making the microphone pricing seem even better value . . .
