Re: [Biofuel] RE: Fire ants wasZXZX
No fire ants in Oregon but we do have sugar ants. We use equal parts borax, powdered sugar and yeast. Non-toxic to kids and pets. The yeast goes back to the queen and kapow she blows up and the ants start to disappear. Such a poll would be useless given selection bias issues inherent to nonrandom sampling. Besides, do you really need a straw poll to conclude that the majority of list readers are against this war? Re: [biofuel] War, Bush, and all the other Middle East stuff
Political or otherwise, all of the comments are relevent. Stop being selfish, stop being narrow-minded and stop trying to make your point with shildish namecalling. Rather than a 1984 izzuzuzu p'u, you could invest in a veggie-bus for your community and simply gleen the information you need keeping your petty preferences to yourself. I juxt bought a 1989 Flxible 70-passenger busBest to you. zner1 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:Hello All, I hope that I'm not going to offend anybody but I feel I have to say something. I really enjoy the group and love the source for info on alternative fuels and biodiesel. I have recently purchased a really nice 84 Isuzu P`up Diesel Pickup and am starting to cook up my first batches of biodiesel. I have found the info in the archives and on the list to be a big help but I am totally sick of the whole war, Bush, freedom fries . you name it, political, off topic posts. I know many on the list are against a new war in Iraq (as am I) but I feel your coments would be better directed to a board based on political dicussion, rather than biofuels. Could we please try to focus on biofuels and not on the moron in the White House. Thanks, Kevin R. Yahoo! Re: [biofuel] Pro-privacy, pro-environment senator dies in crash
Tad, When the vote is taken, I for one, am not interested in your machine habits and less interested in conspiracies regarding the unfortunate passing of Wellstone. I am interested in biodiesel replacing foreign and domestic products. I think the nerds and wonks need to find another forum. Mike C. Tad Johnson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:Hehehe, well, I wish it were that cut and dry. Hence the reason I use both. Unlike the adds, I can't do everything I need to do on one machine. I use one for music, surfing, and graphics. The PC for Trading stocks, programming Pic processors and programming math apps. I've been using both and programming on both since I was 10 years old. I am now 32. They both crash about the same. They are both about the same speed although my G4 has dual 867's, the PC has 1.5ghz single. They both are made from cheap parts from Asia, and yet they both do what I need them to do. I would however love do to a poll with users of both machines. I am sure we would find very liberal people mostly using Mac. But I've been wrong before. We can debate this over normal email if you like however. I'm always up for some good nerd talk = ) I'm sure the list would appreciate it as well. I own both Apple and PC, but all my Apple friends always have funny ideas about these things. God love em, they always seem to give me a good laugh. No offence intended = ) Tad :-) I find the opposite - a lot of info-professionals use Macs, for good reason. And they (we) aren't usually into conspiracism. On the other hand, I guess you can't really blame people who use a virus-magnet like Windoze for thinking someone's out to get them. After all, someone already did, LOL! Keith Yahoo!
