Re: [Biofuel] cost of B100 versus Petro in the Midwest USA
I would like to know the company that is selling for that price I just thought I had found a good deal @ $2.36 a gal. here in Dallas, Tx. And to get that price it has to be by the drum. - Original Message - From: "Brian Rodgers" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Wednesday, October 12, 2005 3:43 PM Subject: Re: [Biofuel] cost of B100 versus Petro in the Midwest USA >I want some. Re: [Biofuel] Purchasing a still for ethanol
I have built this still for producing spirits but it can be use to distill about anything, I have not tryed yet but should work well for methonal recovery. http://www.moonshine-still.com - Original Message - From: Bob To: biofuel@sustainablelists.org Sent: Thursday, September 22, 2005 3:11 AM Subject: [Norton AntiSpam] [Biofuel] Purchasing a still for ethanol Where can I buy a still that can produce fuel grade ethanol (190 proof)? I have read that the charles 803 is a poor still and I have no access to anyone knowledgable enough to build a good enough still without accurate plans. I could possibly pay someone to build one if I knew exactly what to tell them to build. I have done google and JTF and searched this list but have come up with no one that operates a successful fuel still. Thanks Bob Do you Yahoo!?The New Yahoo! Re: [Biofuel] Processor
Yes I have made several small patches with nothing but success so far (just pure dumb luck and a lot of good info) I am currently running it my Kubota lawn tractor and its performing very well. Starts easier runs quieter and has a significant power increase but smells like im cooking fries when mowing. Im convienced the water heater is the wrong proccessor for my project, thinkibg of making a cone bottom from a drum and just insulating and coating it for corrosion. - Original Message - From: "Keith Addison" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 6:09 AM Subject: Re: [Biofuel] Processor > Hello John, welcome > >>Hello I am new to the bio diesel experience, through this website >>and others I have built a bubble washer and a drying tank. > > I think you should have a good look at this: > http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_bubblewash.html > Washing: Journey to Forever > >>I scavange a water heater that I was going to use for the processor >>but have since heard there maybe some problems with this type. [Biofuel] Processor
Hello I am new to the bio diesel experience, through this website and others I have built a bubble washer and a drying tank. I scavange a water heater that I was going to use for the processor but have since heard there maybe some problems with this type. Does anyone have any suggestions on the processor and the pump. Would like to work with 40-50 gallon batches to start and then later move to the 2 stage process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
