Comic-book bags are acid-free, but I doubt an entire box of software would fit in one; maybe the smaller ones will. They also make acid-free magazine-size bags, which might allow you to put some slightly larger boxes (and certainly EA flats) in them. You should be able to find them at your local comic book store. I believe they also make special bags for Life magazine (which, as you know, has non-standard dimensions), but don't know where you'd find them. And, doing a (tiny) bit of research, I discovered that they also make "thick" magazine bags which are 1/4" wider than standard ones. They're used primarily for Playboy Heavy Metal magazines. (BTW, comic bags actually come in slightly different sizes, but not enough to help much with software boxes.) -- Lee K. Re: [SWCollect] Accessible storage?
They sell them magazine-size, though that's still too big for a lot of large packages. I'm not that worried, personally; I've been Zip-locking my games for years and there's absolutely no indication of damage. (Besides, a good percentage of mine are shrinked... and if there's acid in *that* plastic, it's hopeless anyway.
