Re: [SWCollect] RtCW tin

2002-01-08 Thread Karl Kuras

Not me... the game is good and all, but it's just another shooter (albeit a
beautiful one). If there's a collectors tin for No One Lives Forever 2 or
Deus Ex 2 then we can start talking.

Got this in a recent newsletter from EBGames.com. I was just curious
how many of you were going to buy it. Also, how many of these are
they making? I was unable to access Activision's RtCW site via Lynx
 and find out myself.

I'm not going t o bother, not being a big FPS fan. Plus it's not like it's
rare, I've seen them in every Babbage's and EB I've been to. You can still
get the Quake III collector's tin, for like $10.

Stuff that is specifically marketed as a collector's edition without a
sufficiently rabid fanbase behind it usually doesn't have much extra
worth. I don't plan on buying it. Same goes for number of copies --
with every Babbage's and CompUSA around here with at least 3 copies per
store on the shelves, it doesn't look like it was a limited run.
