There is another solution which is based on Nagios (Linux distribution): http://fannagioscd.sourceforge.net/ Nagios + Centreon + Nagvis + Nareto Cheers Luc Beat Siegenthaler a écrit : On 28.01.10 13:12, Luca Cappiello wrote: Nagios would be probably the best choice, but maybe there other concepts I'm not aware of. We do all our checks with Hobbit http://hobbitmon.sourceforge.net/ It has been renamed to Xymon lately, but you'll find more scripts and stuff on the net if you google for Hobbit. While it doesn't have a very nice interface, it scales very good and you can so your own checks very easily. We have scripts to monitor Oracle database replications, Updates on RedHat packages, Coolwater flow in the Serverroom A/C and much more. We like Nagios a lot, and also have been tracking the progress of Icinga, which is a nagios fork, with a similar behaviour to nagios, but the development team are concentrating on the interface !
