[swinog] Bluewin SMTP proxy?
Could anyone of Bluewin please make a statement about some changes in customers SMTP level? We have many customers which cannot connect to their mailserver @Hostpoint via ESMTP. I suppose, a transparent SMTP proxy filters all the Port 25 traffic. Then I upgraded Mozilla to 1.6 on the Win98, and finaly this one works. The squid proxy which I also use did not have a problem when the browsers sends the name with punycode. I just tested a Mozilla 1.4 on a Linux box at work, this one works too. Mozilla Firebird 0.7 on Win2k works. RE: [swinog] Problems with Cablecom MX
Oliver, from your customer side, I cannot connect to mx.hispeed.ch:25 from a green bb connection. Peter as we only see some of our ip's blocked I guess our postmaster is re-routing smtp for cablecom domains. anyone working for cablecom/swissonline on this list??! oliver -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maillist-Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/swinog%40swinog.ch/ -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maillist-Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/swinog%40swinog.ch/
[swinog] [OT] How to get rid of UCF?
Sorry for this off-topic thread... We have been awoken this night once again from Unsolicited Commercial Fax-Calls to our phone number. Caller ID is suppressed as always. Swisscom Störungsannahme dose only propose to refuse anonymous calls by activating service 99. We do receive sometimes normal calls with suppressed caller id, so we cannot activate the refusing-service. Like the handling with Spam Mails, we don't want to plug-over the faxmachine to avoid that the system knows, that there _is_ a fax. Is there any other thing we can do? Is there someone else, having the same problem? Thank you... - Dan -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maillist-Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/swinog%40swinog.ch/
[swinog] [OT] btw, swisscom
Try opening http://www.swisscom.com under Linux 2.4.18 (seen with opera and mozilla) and wonder... We all now pretty well, that MS dislike the Linux Community, but to ban Linux users out of MS customers homepages is something else. I'll better inform them (but how?).
