A member of SIUG noted that many swiss providers do not have an entry
in the contact database of abuse.net. We think it would be good if the
swiss providers represented on this list could update their entries to
provide the e-mail address of their abuse-contacts to abuse.net.
Please note that abuse.net is *not* a blacklist. abuse.net is a mere
database which stores abuse-contacts for many domains and thereby
provides a good method to contact abuse-masters. Other services such
as spamcop also use the database of abuse.net. The database is open
and public, it can be queried over the Web or with whois.
More informations and methods to update entries can be found here:
http://www.abuse.net/
Thanks and regards,
Felix
