Re: [swinog] SPAM from own customers
We're thinking about some sort of rate-limiting technique for postfix. But it seems not to be an easy task, if it must scale... We are working on something like that http://smtpspamproxy.sourceforge.net/ Cheers Erich -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maillist-Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/swinog%40swinog.ch/
[swinog] SPAM from own customers
Hi All The topic Spam sent over infected or malconfigured enduser pc's will become an big issue. We saw Virus' sending Spam directly from the users pc, downloading the recipient list and the payload trough HTTP from the web. How will you deal with the problem, that one user can flood your SMTP Server with tousends of emails within 10-20 minutes? Opinions, Suggestions? thanks, michel -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maillist-Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/swinog%40swinog.ch/

Think of a modification of our Dial-Spam-Block: http://dial-spam-block.sourceforge.net/ http://www.init7.net/anti-spam/index.php It counts the receipients and blocks automatically after for example 200.
