Friends faced the same problem : no FreJND module in Andbible

So I uploaded FreJND 1.22 online at
https://parolededieu.org/media/frejnd-1.22.zip . Then you just need to
"upload from zip" in the app.

FreJND isn't showing up in BibleDesktop as well.

In the .conf file, the versification employed by the FreJND module is encoded:
Versification=DarbyFr

The problem is that it is encoded DarbyFR in JSword:
file:
/src/main/java/org/crosswire/jsword/versification/system/SystemDarbyFR.java
Line: 39

Re: [sword-devel] Module upload: FreJND

2019-05-21 Thread Dudeck, John
No need to put the old version up somewhere -- I found a copy.

The mods.d conf file says that FreJND uses the DarbyFr versification and that
it requires Sword 1.8.0. Jsword has some of the French versifications, but I
don't remember if DarbyFr was one of them.

John

We put the French versifications about a year ago into libsword. So, using them
for new versions seems kind of expected. Is jsword not keeping up with this or
is this an And Bible problem?

I could upload an old version to Attic but I am not sure this would help with
And Bible which does not allow custom repos, nor does it use the repo list

Other French Bibles using French v11n are shown in AndBible.

Re: [sword-devel] Module upload: FreJND

2017-05-22 Thread David Haslam
That's a plausible explanation.

If that's the case, then the beta module with the different v11n ought to be
rebuilt from the latest source text asap.

It could then be moved from Beta after SWORD 1.8 is released and the most
popular front-ends have been updated to suit.

Best regards,

David

I think - I am not at my computer to check - the two have different
versifications. The one in beta uses one of the new French ones. I will
re-issue all French ones, once 1.8 is out

Re: [sword-devel] Module upload: FreJND

2017-05-22 Thread David Haslam
Hi Peter,

Wouldn't it now be sensible to remove the earlier *FreJND* module from
CrossWire Beta ?

The Beta module is *Version=1.19*, so it has been superseded.

What was the original reason for the module being only in Beta?

Best regards,

David

2017-05-17 Thread yvand
I just want to mention that this release fixes paragraph and notes
issues (paragraph break + numbering, spacing and crossReference notes)
and adds a new markup for WoC (Words of Christ).

Bugs can be reported at https://frejnd.yapper.fr/signaler/ or by mail to
yvand(dot)sword(at)gmail(dot)com and seb(dot)sword(at)koocotte(dot)org

Thanks to the Crosswire team!

It was, as they say, merely "the tip of the iceberg". :)

The second reply detailed "what lies beneath".

Many thanks to "modules team" for all "his" hard work.

Cheers.

Peter,

Minor observation:

Your announcement included "Many thanks to *update* for the hard work."

Shouldn't that have been "Many thanks to *yvand* for the hard work." ?

And if so, might there be a tiny bug in your scripting?

Blessings,
