Sorry, the list is moderated by default so the first time you send a

I introduced myself to this community at this group around 2 days earlier
but I cannot yet, see it in the conversations. Can someone tell me what
happened?

[sympy] Mayank Gaur Personal Introdiction

2021-01-01 Thread mayank gaur
Hello everyone!

My name is Mayank Gaur. I am working in python for about 2.5 years have
deep understading of various ML and deep learning algorithms. I am
currently a 3rd year student and I want to understand how open source works
and also wants to write code that is used by many. As a part of my degree,
I have been exposed to all major areas of mathematics and some of my
favorite are related to Algebra, Combinatorics, Statistics, and Graph
Theory and I am deeply interested in mathematics. I also love reading about
physics and machine learning and Algorithm design and analysis.
I haven't used sympy yet but it perfectly matches my skillset and I really
find it very interesing. Hence I want to start my open source journey with
sympy. Can anyone please suggest where can I start and how can some
contributuing tips(like how to debug and understand the codebase)? Also, is
Pycharm good for open source development? I use Ubuntu linux

Regards,
Pranav Ghag
