There are many types of entrances to an underground (overground!) railway system. Coming from one direction, you encounter the steps. [Tagging] Entrances..
Wouldn't it be great if railway=subway_entrance was rendering, and if we had a generic scheme to tag entrances for different stuff. That would get some false positives (double-stations) About 1/3 of subway_entrances have names, even fewer have relations, I believe using names has advantages. well, but name is for the name of the feature, so it could well happen that a subway entrance has it's own name that is not the one of the station but the one of the street it is leading to.
