I don't know what happened to your in box. And I don't know if all mail
servers work the same. But here's a potential problem with switching
from pop3 to iMap. If you didn't have "leave messages on server" set for
your pop3 account all messages are downloaded to your computer and then
deleted from the mail server. And if you change the same account in your
email client to iMap, rather than creating a new iMap account,
everything will be wiped out and assume the default iMap server folder
configuration. So you would lose any folders you created because you're
now working off of the server from within your client.
If you have a backup you should be able to copy and paste your previous
folder structure into the new iMap folder within Becky.
Good luck,
Tom

Funny, I just noticed that one of my folders is gone. It's not a default
folder, but one that I ccreated for music business. Very strange. Not in the
recycle bine, either. Must be gremlins.

Thanks, Mike, but this isn't the problem. My main folder is open, and
when I arrow down it goes straight to the out box folder, with no in box
in between. When I tab over to where the list of messages should be, it
says, Becky's quick memo. You can use this area as a free memo. I can't
find a way to close this quick memo message, which seems to be
overlaying the in box. This is so weird. Thanks for your input, though.
