This is the question. I'm just thinking that maybe I could just start
over, and see if this continues to happen.

I went to Cortana and searched and found IE, and tried the uninstall
option and tried it, but it didn't uninstall. As I say, I'm not sure how
one would go about reinstalling it anyway.

Maybe I'm just making something out of nothing here, but it just doesn't
look good.

Hi Everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well. As the subject says, I will be
leaving Ai Squared. After serving with this team for nearly 12 years, my
final day will be Friday, October 28. I have decided to take a job with
Interactive Accessibility. While I won't be part of Ai Squared any more, I
want you all to know that it has been an honor to serve our customers. I
plan to continue to stay active in the assistive technology community, and I
don't plan to be a stranger.

As one of my favorite Bible verses says, "In their hearts humans plan their
course, but the Lord establishes their steps" (Proverbs 16:9). I am looking
forward to the new challenges and people that God has in store for me.

You are completely forgetting NVDA which is a free option, and it's
actually a screenreader worth using. it's not a toy a couple people put
together, it actually works a lot better than a lot of folks think.

So, if Window-eyes does eventually stop being developed, there is
absolutely no reason why you can't download a free copy of NVDA and use
that.

Yes: paying customers do have certain rights, one of which to
complain.

I'm in that paying customer group, who subsidise the Window-eyes for
Office programme, and actually, as a paying customer, get less and less
of what I've paid for.

As our numbers diminish, so Window-eyes becomes less viable as a
distinctive, commercially driven product.

For those who say use NVDA - not for me - its braille support is
worse than Window-eyes. So - it may well be JFW which I reluctantly
purchase, or I stay with Window-Eyes the performance of which is now
lagging in a number of areas.

So VFO: talk to your paying customers.

Hi everyone,
It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be part of the Window-Eyes
community for the past 7 years. So, it is with a heavy heart that I share
this news. Today is my last day working for Ai Squared. I was made a job
offer that was too good to refuse. As much as I love my current job, this
was the best decision for my family. Next month, I will start my new job as
a Senior Accessibility Specialist for JP Morgan Chase. This position will
give me the opportunity to help Chase further their mission to build
inclusive digital experiences for all of their customers. If you would like
to stay in touch, feel free to follow me on Twitter. I don't tweet often,
but when I do, I usually distribute information on digital accessibility and
assistive technology. My handle is mr_marcsolomon. As a final thought,
please continue to educate others about the importance of accessibility and
do what you can to help make this world a better place.

Cheers,
Marc
