Re: win eyes to jaws
Doesn't jaws cost a lot more to keep up to date than it did for window eyes? -Original Message- From: Sky Mundell via Talk Sent: Monday, May 15, 2017 9:19 AM To: 'Darrell Bowles' ; 'Window-Eyes Discussion List' Subject: RE: win eyes to jaws Hello Daryl. This is Sky. I know how you feel about installing JAWS on a virtual machine. As of JAWS 16, Freedom Scientific modified their authorization scheme so when you change hardware, memory, etc, JAWS will stay authorized. That is a big change, as last year, I got an SSD drive in my laptop and JAWS ran without needing a reset. Oh, and the resetting process for JAWS has changed. While you can still call up FS to reset and email them, they have put in a new system where you can just type in your JAWS serial number, and press enter, and as long as your down to 1 key, or have no keys, the system will automaticly reset your JAWS keys for you. So I just want to correct you on a few things. -Original Message- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+skyt=shaw...@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of Darrell Bowles via Talk Sent: Monday, May 15, 2017 9:09 AM To: Armando Maldonado; Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: RE: win eyes to jaws But they are in affect saying that.
