That's fine, but what was this an answer to? The message it responds to is
not underneath. So, at least you could have put more information in your
message. Pam.

Hi thanks for telling us about doing that.
Yes that works for me also.
So maybe the folks that make window-eyes can look in to this and see why
it is evening happening at all the repeating thing I mean.

2016-08-18 Thread Carol and Roger via Talk
Although this may be contrary to what Window-Eyes says we should do, I
have found that if I have Thunderbird open and do control-alt-W,
Thunderbird reads as it should, number of links and such, followed by
reading of email message, without usubject message and with no repeating
of first line.

I assume you meant Control-backslash to open the Window-Eyes control
panel. If the Thunderbird app hasn't changed the set files are not
associated. they're loaded by the app.

Hi every time I open A message in Thunderbird.
It will start reading and then.
It will either repete the first few words of whatever message that I am
reading.
Or the first few lines or the first line of A message that I am reading.
How do you get this to stop doing this.
Also when you have Thunderbird open and hit control back space.
It will say Thunderbird.
As the set file that is selected.
But then it will say selected non.
So how do you fix that as well or can't you fix that?

Yes, it reads the subject line again after the message is opened. This
was fixed in a previous Window-eyes version, but the problem came back
in 9.5.1. Hope someone can find a fix for this.
