Re: how to get thunderbird to stop repeting itself with the firs tline or first few words of A message when you are reading A message
That's fine, but what was this an answer to? The message it responds to is not underneath. So, at least you could have put more information in your message. Although this may be contrary to what Window-Eyes says we should do, I have found that if I have Thunderbird open and do control-alt-W, Thunderbird reads as it should, number of links and such, followed by reading of email message, without usubject message and with no repeating of first line. Control-Shift-S will speak the number of links, headings, frames, etc. I just turned them back on and didn't have the problem. But I'm now running a new much faster system. Hi, I don't have this problem but am not using the Thunderbird app. Are you using the app and if so, try disabling the app and see what happens. HTH Neville. Re: how to get thunderbird to stop repeting itself with the firs tline or first few words of A message when you are reading A message
Yes, it reads the subject line again after the message is opened. This was fixed in a previous Window-eyes version, but the problem came back in 9.5.1. Hope someone can find a fix for this.
