The option is yours, which you choose at the beginning of the installation.
If you choose to keep your settings, that is, import as much of  Windows 7 
software as possible, it will analyze your system for incompatible software, 
and, if a piece of software passes the test, it will be available under Windows 
10.
If something must be uninstalled in order for Windows 10 to be installed, 
Windows 10 wil attempt to uninstall it.
If Windows cannot do it, you will be notified, and the installation will not 
proceed until you remedy the situation.

When you upgrade to window's ten, does it automatically save everything on your 
C Drive  or does it clear the C Drive and what about all emails that one has  
in  their in box and others folders.  Are these all lost or does it save them 
to windows ten.

must have been saved really deep in the storage here. Anyone please could 
leave me the link for the screen reader offer of free upgrading to Win10?
