Re: Windows 10 tablets

is it worth aisquares time and money to add touch screen support for windows
tablets when less then 1 percent of the tablet users are blind?
and the fact that only 4 percent of all tablet users are useing windows based
tablets?

most other people are useing i phones not tablets.
some programmers probibly have to go back to school to learn how to do touch
screen programming.
its probibly alot harder to program for the touch screen justures then other
programming.
they are going to have to add touch screen support without breaking the
existing programming code that has been used for win eyes for years.
they also have to deal with how the computer manufacturers and microsoft
keep adding add on's and tweaks that would need extra win eyes programming
before they would work. i am glad i am not the programmers.

Re: Windows 10 tablets

2015-11-09 Thread Samuel Wilkins via Talk
I bet you 10 to 1 Ai Squared are working on that problem. There may be
legal issues when it comes to supporting touch screens, that is to say,
they may need to make sure they don't accidentally copy the code that
another competitor is using. Also, many people may not want to use
touch screens, and be happy with keyboards.

Correct on your assumption.

You need a tablet with an intel based processor running Windows 10 for
intel based processors.
Mobil devices run arm processors that won't work with Window-eyes.

Will WE 9.2 work on a windows 10 based tablet running Windows 10 mobile?
I assume that the Windows 10 mobile version is like the RT version of
Windows 8 and doesn't work with WE 9.2.
