Re: Adobe Flash Player always crashing every time I open Firefox
I did that a couple of times and it still didn't work. I even removed it and the behavior resumed as soon as I reinstalled the player and ran Firefox. RE: disabling adobe flash plugin
Jed, You asked this question about two weeks ago and I sent detailed instructions to you and the list. For your convenience, I will include my instructions again below: If you don't care about watching Flash based video content on the web in Firefox, then your best option would be to disable the Shockwave Flash plugin. This will prevent the plugin from running and crashing. If you want to do this, open the Tools menu in Firefox with Alt-T. Down Arrow to Add-ons and press Enter. A new tab will open in Firefox. Turn Browse Mode off and then Tab until you hear Extensions. Down Arrow until Plugins is selected. Then Tab until you reach the list of plugins. Next, Down Arrow until you find Shockwave Flash. Tab to the pull down menu that says Always Activate. Down Arrow to select Never Activate. Restart (exit and re-open) Firefox and the plugin should be disabled. Re: adobe flash
does it usually crash when watching things like you tube? if so use the html5 player if your browser supports it. the notice shows if you go directly to the youtube site , before you watch any video clips. the second choice is to unload w e and use nvda while watching videos. -Original Message- From: john s via Talk Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 3:29 AM To: talk@lists.window-eyes.com Subject: Re: adobe flash Yep, I get the same thing except I'm running a 32 bit processor and os. earlier, Sunshine via Talk wrote: Has anyone had any problems with the latest version of adobeflash in fire fox, crome, and IE? like it keeps on stating that the adobe flash play has crashed and no matter what you do you can not get it to work?
