Hello

Some time ago there was a message advising people not to use Mcaffee
with Window-eyes.

Mike..

Hi, thanks, I've got Mcaffee. I usually use AVG and have it on my

Mcaffee free.

What is your antivirus package? I ask because Web Root Security
Anywhere does not read the desk top and this started with WE
9.2. That problem showed up on a Windows 8.1 machine and we never
could get WE 9.3 installed on either of our machines. If your
computer came from Best Buy recently, check the antivirus package as
they are giving out Web Root Security Anywhere free and you don't
want this free item at any cost.

I think the removal of the offending software will happen this
weekend. I sure would like to say good riddens to that piece of garbage.

Karyn Campbell, Illinois USA, karyn1...@gmail.com and likely Viper
Antivirus on both machines.
Using WE 9.3 on HP Pavilion running Windows 8.1 with Office 2013
and I.E. 11 as well as Assuss convertible laptop running Windows 10
with Office 2013 and I.E. 11 as default browser and Viper Antivirus
on boht machines.

oddities with WE and Windows 10

2016-02-12 Thread Tony C via Talk
Hey folks, I’ve noticed that quite often after surfing the web or watching
Hulu. We will not focus on the desktop, I try windows D, windows M etc.. My
sighted GF told me the desktop is there and there is nothing else on the screen
but, window eyes will not read the icons on the desktop. When this happens I
can hit the letter corisponding to the Icon I want WE will speak the letter I
hit but not read the name of the icon.If I use alt F4 we will say “what do you
want the computer to do” usually you can arrow down through the list restart,
shutdown, etc but, in this case WE doesn’t read these choices even though they
are there and highlighting as you arrow down. Is anyone else experiencing this
with Windows 10?
