Does anyone have a MP3 copy of Kathy Ann Murtha's tutorial on the

explain how I can make a copy.

Re: utube video

Another idea you might consider is using a program called SongR, which
will let you copy a URL of a video or any other Youtube file to the
clipboard, and paste it into the download from youtube dialog box, and
convert it to .mp3. Depending on the size of the file, it might take
less than 10 seconds for a two minute song, or maybe a minute or less to
convert an hour long presentation.
I use it constantly, and I've found nothing better for accomplishing
these kinds of tasks.

Good luck,

Larry

This is Probably the hard way to do this, but this is what I do.

I used Gold Wave to record the video playing.

I then end the recording, edit the beginning and ending of this file,
and save it as an MP3 file.

A second way is to use a web site that converts Youtube videos to MP3.

Start the video, then copy the URL. Go to that Special web site and
Paste the URL into the correct spot. Choose a Button labeled Convert
and it takes a few minutes.

You are then able to download the newly created file.

I am doing this on a Win 7 system with 9.3.

Compared to recording with Gold Wave, using this Web Site is much
faster. The web site converted a a45 minute video in just a few minutes.
The problem I ran into, was that the web site notified me that I needed
to install something called Flash Player Pro. Even though I had never
heard of this program, I chose to download and install it. When I did
this, I started getting warned by AVG that this file is wanting to
install and it may not be a good idea.So I canceled the download of
the Flash Player Pro.

I may try it again when I look up who and what Flash Player Pro is, and
if this works out, using the Web Site would be the fastest and cleanest
way to obtain an MP3 file of any video found on Youtube.

Now you all are wanting to know the address to the Converting Web site,
so it is found below.
