Rate limiting for 429 requests is not done on a website basis, but on a
per-IP basis. We're still tuning the thresholds, and I've adjusted them
after reviewing the usage that lead to your block yesterday and changed
the thresholds.

The zoom, pan, and zoom that Leaflet does (flyTo API, I assume) to move
from location to location loads about 2000 tiles on a 4k display, and
could load more depending on resolution settings. This is more than I
had expected when I set the limits, so I've adjusted the our settings to
allow it.

You enter the aiport’s ICAO code, IATA code or simply search by name and
will be presented a vector-map with data retrieved via Overpass-API.

Maybe there is an aviation enthusiast who might like this.

Nice idea. I can see how this might be interesting for aviation enthusiasts.

I wonder how you implemented the map access. After hopping to the second

Also on naming, you might want to think of a different name.
The one you have currently chosen is conflicting with OSM trademark.
Having your own name would give more freedom on what you do with the
page and what data sources to use.

You can read further here:

Especially the section about "You may not" and the example "OpenThingMap".

You enter the aiport’s ICAO code, IATA code or simply search by name and will be presented a vector-map with data retrieved via Overpass-API.
