Contact the land manager, if the land manager can make a serious job  
of closing the track to traffic then it might be OK to use a lifecycle  
prefix, there are a few to choose from.

I think this one can't work out if its  public or private land, often  
the private party is bluffing and its public land.

[talk-au] "Illegal", & "asked to be closed" tracks?

We discussed both of these a few weeks ago, but didn't really come to any
conclusions?

So, how do we handle them?

I'd also spotted another one where somebody was saying this is all private
property, so none of these (many!) bike tracks should be there, but that's
now apparently been closed, as I can't find it again?

Ah yes, sorry about that. My interest in highway classification is so
low I don't think your email even registered with me.

Had a read through the wiki on highway classification and it is pretty
useless for deciding what to do in urban areas.

Anyway let's give a week or so and then we can close that issue with a
note that nobody has an opinion on the subject.

Which asks why so many of the streets in the Brisbane CBD are classified 
as secondary. Answering the question requires way more local knowledge 
than I have of Brisbane roads.

state, e.g. in Sydney most things are mapped correctly however in other
places they are more commonly mapped before physical division starts; I'm
almost certain that this would be because of the different contributors in
each region, with different ideas on how things should be mapped (even if
